Sustainability is important to us at Conestoga Meats. We’ve created a self-sustainable ecosystem that reduces our carbon footprint and ensures we remain economically viable for many generations.
Sustainable Production Process
All of our farmers are land-based hog producers that grow the grains to feed their hogs. Our farmers recycle the nutrients / fertilizer generated by our hogs back into their fields. This is a closed biological cycle that helps maintain and improve the quality of the soil.
It is considered best practice both locally and internationally to use as much of the hog as possible in pork processing. Conestoga strongly follows this practice, we are always open to new market opportunities.
